The games difficulty never felt to overbearing, or ruthless like games like Fire Emblem, which can be a let down at some points as sometimes it even felt like the AI purposely avoided killing my party members in situations I would have been screwed. Each battle can take between 10-30+ minutes but never did it feel boring, even when grinding for levels and money, I enjoyed it.
